Nastaran Akhavan


Nastaran Akhavan in Persian December 5, 1961, Tehran, is an Iranian nonfiction writer. Being one of the survivor of Iranian Black Friday, she wrote the true story of the day and afterwards in her view as ayears old Iranian school girl in a book Spared. She left the country in 1978, first resided in England and obtained her high school diploma. In 1979 she emigrated to the United States.
